Shahista graduated in 1983 from Royal Dental Hospital School of Dental Surgery, and has been working at CareDental SmileStudios for 16 years, but currently only working in a part-time capacity. She has special interests in cosmetic dentistry and has been attending CPD courses to acquiring further skills and techniques towards quality cosmetic dentistry.

In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family, practising Taekwondo, (which she is now a green belter) skiing and snorkelling.
